René Duchesne - General Manager

In his functions, René will capitalize on his vast hotel/hospitality experience. A graduate from St-Clair College in Food & Beverage Management, his experience covers more than 40 years in high management functions. René contributed to the realisation of the new Brossard Hotel on the south shore of Montreal throughout the concept to construction stages.

His experience from renowned establishments like the Quebec Hilton, the Auberge des Gouverneurs, the Loews Concorde in Québec city and the Centre des congrès de Laval, will be put to use to benefit the Gatineau area and its guests. Over the years, René forged himself a great reputation with its large client base.

Mr. Duchesne is proud to be in charge of an inspired team, dedicated to realise all future events to be held at the Centre des congrès de Gatineau.

 

Joanne Boily, Commercial Delegate

Ms Boily is the commercial delegate on our sales team. She is supervising the governmental and the school graduation markets.

Over the last 15 years, she gathered a lot of experience in group travelling planning, event (event organisation) planning and customers relation. Her experience at Groupe Voyages Québec, DMC Transat, Réservation Outaouais and le Château Cartier can only benefit our guests.

Dynamic, responsible and fearless in front of new challenges, Joanne will make your event a great success. 

Alex Scott, Chef

Our chef is a graduate of the Centre de l’excellence du Tourisme de l’Atlantique (New-Brunswick) in Food Handling and Management.

Mr. Scott brings to the table more than 15 years of experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry, in establishments like the George V (Paris), the Château Montebello, the Sheraton Four Point Hotel (Gatineau) and many restaurants in the Outaouais area.

Passionnate about culinary art and gastronomy and meticulous like no other, Mr. Scott is bound to charm you at your next event.

 

Petro Dionyssopoulos, Banquet Manager

Mr. Dionyssopoulos worked over five years for Capital Catering having recently moved from Montréal to our region in order to join our sales department as Banquet Manager. He will be in charge of all associations events and weddings receptions.  

A native of Greece, he stands with a degree of mechanical engineering and a Master's degree in History.

It is with great joy that we welcome Petro to our team.

 

Denis Carpentier, Banquet Manager

Mr. Carpentier was born in the Haute-Gatineau in Québec. With 37 years of experience in the hotel world, he is our expert for the tiniest details of your menu.

Smiling and jovial, he is a person with whom it is always good to discuss. He will always make sure to understand your needs.

It is with pleasure that we welcome him to our team as Banquet Manager specializing with corporate and association accounts.

Sylvie Desrosiers

Mrs. Desrosiers has the role of Administrative Assistant and Sales. She has over 30 years of experience in customer service in various areas, all connected in the world of tourism. Having lived over 20 years in Toronto, she knows very well the definition of multicultural life.

She is always ready to help her team with a zest for life and great enthusiasm.
